Finding a location that resonates with you and your partner can be stressful, so I've wrote down my top 3 places I've been able to photograph in the area and my experience as a photographer in these spots.
First, your photographer should be able to help you narrow down a good location, this is never your job!!
San Antonio Botanical Garden-
I can't say enough good things about this location it is an engagement photographer's dream. There are so many photo spots around the ground's chances are you won't be able to get all of them in a one-hour session. From nature scenery outside to the conservatories with exotic plants. My bias definitely loved the assortment of exotic green beauties but
the photographer in me was shook when they turned on the misters in the jungle conservatory. This whole exhibition is great for statement engagement photos that will blow you out of the water and please your inner plant addiction

McNay Art Musuem
The McNay Art Muesum has a beautiful assortment of backgrounds all throughout the property. Your inner romantic will come out whenever you see it in person. From gorgeous stucco arches to the immaculate artwork there is an endless amount of different photos you can achieve on this property. To top the cherry off we even took a photo by the iconic
" L O V E" sign

Chapel Dulcinea-
Chapel Dulcinea is more of a venue for an elopement or micro wedding but the views are breathtaking. A true Austin Gem this venue overlooks the hill country in a beautiful Chapel with a huge bell to ring after you say "I do." They also put a brick of you and your SO name and date on the paved roadway to the chapel. I thought that was really beautiful, a very sentimental thing to be able to go back and visit. The best thing about Chapel
Dulcinea is it's FREE!!! That's right. They are one proudly one of Austin's only free wedding venues although you do have to make a reservation still perfect for those not looking to spend a lot on their day.
